British Airways returns to Abu Dhabi skyline, strengthening UK-UAE connections
British Airways has made a triumphant return to Abu Dhabi, marking a significant milestone as its aircraft touched down at Zayed International Airport.
Following a hiatus of four years, both customers and crew were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm upon the resumption of this key route on 21 April.
Operating a daily flight from London Heathrow to Abu Dhabi year-round, British Airways aims to strengthen connections between the UAE and the UK, catering to the diverse needs of travellers, whether for leisure, business or visiting friends and relatives.
The airline will deploy the Boeing 787-9 aircraft during the summer of 2024, enhancing the travel experience for passengers.
Flight BA073 to Abu Dhabi departs London Heathrow at 22:25, arriving in Abu Dhabi at 08:30 the following day. The return flight, BA072, takes off from Abu Dhabi at 10:10, reaching London Heathrow at 15:20.
