Please note the following important visa updates which affect UK passport holders.
From 1st September 2015, travellers arriving in Kenya who were previously able to purchase a visa upon arrival, will now be required to process, and purchase, a visa online BEFORE arriving in the country. For instructions on how to apply, please use the following URL: https://immigration.ecitizen.go.ke/index.php?id=5
Eligible UK passport holders can now apply for an e-Tourist Visa online. Please note there are certain criteria which must be met in advance and the option also applies to those on a ‘casual business visit’. At this time we (GTM) are waiting for further clarification on the definition of a casual business visit. For more information, please visit, https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/tvoa.html
With immediate effect, all India visa applications must now be submitted with a new Letter of Authorisation, which must be completed and enclosed with all other paperwork. Yet more paperwork and bureaucracy!
Please contact us and we will email you the form in question.
For those of you who travel to India, be it for business or pleasure, please note that the photographs you have to provide (assuming you require a visa to enter the country) must be 50mm x 50mm in size.
This is different to the passport sized photographs which United Kingdom citizens have to provide when applying for a UK passport (these are 45mm x 35mm).
