Mumbai international airport update.

On 18 October 2016 the main runway at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport will close for 4 hours. The secondary runway is expected to remain open. Then from 31st October to 28th November both runways will close every Monday and Thursday between noon and 5pm. All flights scheduled during these times are likely to be affected by delays and cancellations, if you’re travelling to/from or connecting to flights in Mumbai please do call us to discuss any possible implications.

Important UK Passport Holder Visa Updates.

1. Kenya

From 1st September 2015, travellers arriving in Kenya who were previously able to purchase a visa upon arrival, will now be required to process, and purchase, a visa online BEFORE arriving in the country. For instructions on how to apply, please use the following URL:

Eligible UK passport holders can now apply for an e-Tourist Visa online. Please note there are certain criteria which must be met in advance and the option also applies to those on a ‘casual business visit’. Important India Visa Update.

With immediate effect, all India visa applications must now be submitted with a new Letter of Authorisation, which must be completed and enclosed with all other paperwork. Yet more paperwork and bureaucracy!

India Visa Applications – Important Update.

For those of you who travel to India, be it for business or pleasure, please note that the photographs you have to provide (assuming you require a visa to enter the country) must be 50mm x 50mm in size.

This is different to the passport sized photographs which United Kingdom citizens have to provide when applying for a UK passport (these are 45mm x 35mm).
