BA Resumes Inverness Service.

British Airways is reinstating its Heathrow-Inverness service this week almost 20 years after it ceased operations on the route. The new daily service, which ended in 1997, will connect Inverness and the Highlands to London. Inverness joins Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle with an air service into Heathrow and access to BA’s worldwide network.

Brussels Airport Explosion.

As per media reports this morning, Tuesday 22nd March, there have been two explosions at Brussels Zaventem Airport. Currently the airport is being evacuated and all flights have been grounded. The Belgian authorities are advising passengers not to travel to the airport until further notice.
